Kyiv's NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium will host the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League ™ final on the 26th May 2018 and it will be the first time that Ukraine hosts a UEFA Champions League™ final. The stadium, however, has hosted other big sporting events, such as the 1980 Olympic Games™ and the 2012 European Championships™.
The winners of the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League will earn the right to play against the winners of the 2017/18 UEFA Europa League in the 2018 UEFA Super Cup. They will also qualify to enter the semi-finals of the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup as the UEFA representative.
2019 FIFA Women's World Cup™
The 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup will be the 8th edition of the event and will take place in France. In March 2015, France was awarded the hosting rights for the tournament, the first time for the country but the third time in Europe. The matches will be played in eleven cities across France. The current format of the tournament will see 24 national teams, including the host nation, compete for the title. The defending champions is the United States. 1st to 30th June 2019
Rugby World Cup™ 2019
This will be the first time the tournament is held in Asia, the first time consecutive tournaments have been staged in the same hemisphere, and the first time that the event will take place outside the traditional heartland of the sport. Twelve stadiums throughout Japan will host the matches through a 54 day event. Only one team will prevail as RWC Champions and host the Webb Ellis Cup. 2018 FIFA World Cup™
The 2018 FIFA World Cup™ will be the 21st FIFA World Cup, that is scheduled to take place between 14 June and 15 July 2018 in Russia. This will be the first World Cup held in Europe since 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. The finals tournament will involve 32 national teams, including that of the host nation and the final is expected to take place in Moscow at the Luzhniki Stadium. 14 June to 15 July 2018
